Option 1 — Inside the app (recommended)

The fastest way to delete your data:

• Open the Lucid app on your phone.
• Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the home screen to open Settings.
• Under the Account section, tap Delete account.
• Read the confirmation, check the acknowledgement box, and tap Delete everything.

The app will erase your local data and remove your records from our cloud database immediately.

Option 2 — By email

If you can't open the app or prefer to request deletion manually:

• Send an email to awarself@gmail.com.
• Use the subject line: Delete my Lucid account.
• If you signed in with Google, include the email address you used.
• We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Every dream entry — titles, descriptions, mood tags, custom tags, dates, and AI interpretations.
• Your Moons balance — both free and purchased Moons will be forfeited.
• Your profile information — including any name, email, or photo from Google Sign-In.
• Your authentication account on our system.
• Your cloud backup of dreams and balance.

What we may keep

• Aggregate, anonymized analytics events that cannot be linked back to you.
• Purchase records, where required by tax or accounting law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Timeline

In-app deletion is immediate. Email-requested deletions are processed within 30 days. After completion, your data cannot be recovered.
