Built by awarself. We don't sell your data, we don't track you across other apps, and we don't run any in-app purchases. This page is intentionally short. Full vendor disclosure is in this app's Data Safety section on Google Play.

What we collect

• Account info — your name, email, and profile photo when you sign in with Google. Sign-in is optional — you only need it to view long-term cycle history on the Stats tab.
• Profile — the salary cycle settings you pick (weekly / biweekly / monthly and your typical payday). Stored on your device, mirrored to your account when you're signed in.
• In-app activity — the payday resets you tap, the period modes you try, the roast lines you see, the notifications you tap, the trophies you unlock, the ads you see or skip, and the tabs you open — used to keep the experience snappy and to spot bugs.
• Diagnostic data — crash reports (aggregated) and behavioral usage events (linked to your account when you're signed in so we can investigate issues you specifically report; not linked to you when you're not signed in).
• Messages — a device push token when you turn notifications on, so we can send the weekly Sunday digest. You can turn notifications off any time in Settings or in your system settings.

Why we collect it

• Run the app and your account.
• Fix bugs and crashes.
• Decide what to build next, based on aggregate and anonymized usage.

Who else processes it

Service providers help us run the app — sign-in, hosting, crash reporting, analytics, and ads. They handle data only on our behalf, never for their own purposes. For the full vendor list and data-type disclosure, see this app's Data Safety section on Google Play.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data to advertisers or anyone else.
• We don't track you across other apps or websites.
• We have no in-app purchases — no payment systems are involved at all.
• We don't share your private content with other users.

Your controls

• Sign out — clears your session on this device.
• Delete your account — Settings → Delete Account, or email awarself@gmail.com. Removes your data immediately. See Account Deletion for details. If you never signed in, go to Settings → Delete my local data to wipe all on-device state — no server-side data exists for unsigned users.
• Request your data — email awarself@gmail.com; we'll send a JSON dump within 30 days.

Retention

Your data persists while your account is active. After deletion, anonymized diagnostic logs may be retained for up to 90 days for stability investigation, then permanently removed. Everything else is removed on request.

Children

Salary Countdown: Broke-O-Meter is intended for users aged 13 and over.

Changes

If we change how we collect or use data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date. Material changes are also surfaced inside the app.
