Account Deletion

Salary Countdown: Broke-O-Meter · com.awarself.salarybreakdown · last updated 2026-05-14

You can permanently delete your Salary Countdown: Broke-O-Meter account, your data, and your sign-in. There are two ways:

Option 1 — In-app (preferred)

Open Salary Countdown: Broke-O-Meter.
Go to Settings → Delete Account.
Confirm twice (we ask twice on purpose so it's never an accidental tap).
Done — your account and all data are removed immediately.

Option 2 — Email

If you can't access the app, email awarself@gmail.com from the address linked to your account. We'll process the request within 30 days and confirm by reply.

No account? Delete your local data

If you never signed in, there is no account to delete — Salary Countdown: Broke-O-Meter stores your settings and history only on this device. To erase everything:

Open Salary Countdown: Broke-O-Meter.
Go to Settings → Delete my local data.
Confirm. All on-device data is cleared and the app restarts from scratch.

Nothing about you was ever sent to our servers, so there is nothing else to remove.

What gets deleted

Your account and sign-in credentials
Your profile (display name, avatar)
All in-app data and preferences
Push notification subscriptions, if you'd enabled them
Cached data on this device

What is briefly retained

Anonymized diagnostic logs are kept for 90 days after deletion so we can investigate stability issues. They contain no personal identifiers and are deleted automatically. Nothing else is retained.

Irreversible

Deletion can't be undone. If you sign back in later, it will be a brand-new account with no history.
