com.awarself.kpopbias · v1.0 — initial release · last updated 2026-05-17
Built by awarself. We don’t sell your data, we don’t track you across other apps, and there are no in-app purchases. This page is intentionally short. Full vendor disclosure is in this app’s Data Safety section on Google Play.
What we collect
- Account info — your name, email address, and profile photo when you sign in with Google. Sign-in is required so we can attach your bias board, your coins, and your battle history to a stable identity.
- Profile — the bias board you build yourself: the group names you type, the member names you type, the photos you upload, and which member you tag as your bias, wrecker, or ult. Your board is private to you; other users never see your group names, member names, or photos.
- In-app activity — the cards you create, the photos you upload, the daily pulls you spin, the lore cards you re-roll, the battles you start or finish, the themes you unlock, the ads you see or skip, and your coin balance and transactions. Used to keep the experience running smoothly and to catch bugs.
- Diagnostic data — anonymized crash and performance reports, and behavioral usage events linked to your account so we can investigate issues you specifically report.
- Push notifications — not collected at this time. Push notifications are not currently enabled. If a daily bias reminder ships in a future update, this section will be updated and you will be able to turn it off any time from your device settings.
- Your content — the group names, member names, and photos you add to your board, plus the AI-generated stan title that appears on your Stan ID Card. Photos are stored on a media-hosting service so they load quickly. Only you can see your board.
Why we collect it
- Run the app, your account, and the coin economy.
- Generate your Stan ID Card and daily lore cards using the information you entered.
- Fix bugs and crashes.
- Show ads that help keep the app free (via the ads service).
- Understand how the app is used in aggregate so we can improve it.
Content monitoring
When you upload a photo to your bias board, a brief record of the upload — your anonymized account identifier, the group name and member name you entered, and a link to the uploaded image — is forwarded to a private operator channel for safety review. This is used only to catch harmful content. It is never used for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than keeping the app safe.
Who else processes it
Service providers help us run the app — sign-in, image storage, AI generation, crash reporting, analytics, and ads. They handle data only on our behalf, never for their own purposes. For the full vendor list and data-type disclosure, see this app’s Data Safety section on Google Play.
What we never collect
- Financial or payment information (there are no purchases in this app)
- Precise location
- Contacts or calendar data
- Microphone or camera access (photos are picked from your gallery or via the system photo picker; the camera is not used)
- Health or fitness data
Your controls
- Sign out — clears your session on this device.
- Delete your account — Settings → Delete Account, or email awarself@gmail.com. Removes your data immediately. See Account Deletion for the full details.
- Request your data — email awarself@gmail.com and we’ll send a copy within 30 days.
Retention
Your data persists while your account is active. After deletion, anonymized diagnostic logs may be retained for up to 90 days for stability investigation, then permanently removed. Photos previously uploaded for your bias board are unreachable after account deletion and automatically removed by our image storage provider within 30 days. Everything else is gone immediately on deletion.
Children
Kpop Bias Tracker: Stan Card is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change how we collect or use your data, we’ll update this page and the “last updated” date. Material changes are surfaced inside the app.
