Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your KpopChat account, your data, and your sign-in. There are two ways:
Option 1 — In-app (preferred)
- Open KpopChat.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
- Done — your account and all associated data are removed immediately.
Option 2 — Email
If you can't access the app, email awarself@gmail.com with the subject line delete kpopchat account from the address linked to your account. We'll process the request within 30 days and confirm by reply.
What gets deleted
- Your account and Google sign-in record
- Your profile (display name, avatar, location preference, ghost-mode flag)
- All chat threads — your messages and the AI-generated replies
- Your ad-unlock activity (which AI friends you unlocked, when chat sessions were extended)
- Push notification subscriptions
- Any cached data on this device
What is briefly retained
Anonymized crash and diagnostic logs are detached from your account and held for up to 30 days after deletion so we can investigate stability issues. They contain no personal identifiers and are deleted automatically. Nothing else is retained.
Irreversible
Deletion can't be undone. If you sign back in later, it will be a brand-new account with no history.
