Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your Excuse Genie account and all associated data. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1 — In-app (preferred)

Open Excuse Genie: Funny & Smooth.
Tap the Settings sheet (gear icon).
Tap Delete account.
Confirm when prompted — we ask you to confirm on purpose so it's never an accidental tap.
Done — your account and all data are removed immediately.

Option 2 — Email

If you can't access the app, email awarself@gmail.com from the address linked to your account. We'll process the request within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What gets deleted

Your sign-in credentials and the Google account link
Your profile — name, photo, and all optional fields (country, age range, gender, occupation, vibe)
Your coin balance and coin transaction history
All excuse history, saved excuses, and custom situation text you entered
Your daily streak and all unlocked achievements
Push notification subscription, if you had turned it on
All other data stored under your account on our servers

What is briefly retained

Anonymized diagnostic logs are kept for 90 days after deletion so we can investigate stability issues. They contain no personal identifiers and are deleted automatically. Nothing else is retained.

Irreversible

Deletion can't be undone. Your coin balance and history are gone permanently. If you sign in again later, it will be a brand-new account with no history and a fresh starting balance.
