Built by awarself. We don't sell your data, we don't track you across other apps, and there are no in-app purchases, no ads, and no accounts. This page is intentionally short. Full vendor disclosure is in this app's Data Safety section on Google Play.
Your financial data never leaves your device. Debtfree stores all your debts, balances, interest rates, payment history, and plan settings entirely on-device. Nothing about your finances is ever sent to a server, to us, or to anyone else.
What we collect
- Account info — None. Debtfree has no sign-in and no account. We never ask for your name, email address, or any personal detail.
- Financial data — Your debts, balances, rates, and plan settings live only on this device and are never transmitted anywhere.
- Anonymous usage data — Which screens you open, which payoff strategy you choose, and broad counts of actions taken (for example, that a debt was added, not the name or amount). This data is tied to a random ID generated when you first install the app; it cannot be linked back to you personally.
- Diagnostic data — If the app crashes, the app store's built-in crash reporting captures an anonymous report. No crash SDK ships inside the app itself.

The anonymous ID
Anonymous usage events are tagged with a random install ID that we generate locally. It is not your name, email, or device identifier — it is a randomly chosen string that has no connection to you. You can reset this ID at any time in Settings → Erase all data, which also wipes all your debt data.
Who else processes data
Service providers help us understand usage and catch bugs. They process only the anonymous, non-financial data described above, and they handle it only on our behalf. For the full vendor list and data-type disclosure, see this app's Data Safety section on Google Play.
What we don't do
- We don't collect your debt names, balances, interest rates, or any financial detail.
- We don't sell your data to advertisers or anyone else.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites.
- We don't show ads.
- We have no in-app purchases — no payment systems are involved at all.
Your controls
- Turn off anonymous analytics — Settings → Diagnostics & analytics. When off, no usage events are sent.
- Erase all data — Settings → Erase all data wipes everything on your device (debts, payments, plan, preferences) and resets the anonymous ID. This is permanent.
- Export your data first — Before erasing, use the Export option (JSON or CSV) in Settings to save a copy of your debts and payment history for your own records.
- Uninstall — Removes the app and all local data. Because nothing is stored server-side, uninstalling is complete.
Retention
All your data stays on your device for as long as you keep the app. Anonymized diagnostic logs may be retained by the app store's reporting system for up to 90 days, then removed automatically. We hold no server-side copy of your data.
Children
Debtfree: Debt Payoff Planner is intended for users aged 18 and over.
Changes
If we change how we collect or use data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date. The updated page is accessible from Settings → Legal inside the app.
