Account Deletion
Debtfree: Debt Payoff Planner · com.awarself.debtfree · last updated 2026-06-15
There is no account to delete. Debtfree has no sign-in and no server-side account. All your debt data is stored only on your device.
Because everything is on-device, removing your data is fully in your hands — no email request, no waiting period. Here are your options:
Export your data first (recommended)
Before erasing, save a copy of your debts and payment history so you don't lose your records:
- Open Debtfree: Debt Payoff Planner.
- Go to Settings → Export data.
- Choose JSON or CSV and save the file to your device.
Erase all data inside the app
- Open Debtfree: Debt Payoff Planner.
- Go to Settings → Erase all data.
- Confirm. This immediately and permanently deletes all your debts, balances, payment history, plan settings, and preferences from this device, and resets the anonymous usage ID.
Uninstall the app
Uninstalling Debtfree removes the app and all its data from your device. Because no data is stored on a server, uninstalling is complete — nothing remains anywhere.
What gets removed
- All your debts (names, balances, interest rates, minimum payments)
- Your payment history and progress records
- Your payoff plan and strategy settings
- App preferences (currency, theme, reminder settings)
- The anonymous install ID used for usage analytics
What is briefly retained
Anonymized crash and diagnostic reports held by the app store's own reporting system may be retained for up to 90 days before they are automatically removed. These contain no personal information and no financial data — they cannot be linked to you.
Irreversible
Erasing your data cannot be undone. Export your data first if you want to keep a record.
